Dustin Ryan Gregory, born December 28, 1976; passed away on May 21, 2021. He is survived by his wife, Melissa – the love of his life, his daughter, Taylor Gregory; whom he loved very much and was so proud of, his 2 step-sons, Joseph Naghwai & Jacob Jones, his mother Kim White and step-father Steve; sisters Kayla Cope (James); Jennifer Gregory and Krissy Keely; and his beloved grandparents, Bill & Delores Lamson. Dustin is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins and numerous friends that he loved like family. Dustin loved and adored his English Bulldog Boudreaux and Boudreaux loved Dustin just as much and misses him so much.
If you knew Dustin, to say that he was a sports enthusiast was an understatement. Dustin watched every sport imaginable – sometimes multiple sports at the same time. In his step-son Jacob's words "who in the world watches golf on TV?" – Dustin did and enjoyed every second of it. He also loved hunting and fishing. And Dustin was a great cook and enjoyed cooking for Melissa and Jacob and usually brought a dish to family get togethers and holidays. He also liked to tell "dad" jokes – they weren't always funny jokes, but you could always bet that Dustin would be laughing his goofy laugh whether they were funny or not.
Dustin was many things to many people (a son, grandson, father, husband, brother, uncle, cousin, nephew and friend) and he will missed terribly by those that loved him the most. I'm pretty sure that he would not want us all weeping and being sad – he would want to be remembered with laughter and smiles; more of a celebration of life than a memorial service or funeral. He would want you to raise a glass to him and remember the happy times you had together, the memories you made with him and the times he made you smile. His goofy, little, mischievous smile will be missed by all and we pray that his soul has found the peace it was looking for.
