Douglas Michael Ciauri

Douglas Michael Ciauri, 46, of Plano, Texas, passed away Monday, November 21st at his home. He was born on July 27, 1970 to Judy Anderson Ciauri and Albert Ciauri in West Islip, Long Island, New York.

Douglas graduated from Plano East High School in 1988. Immediately after high school he began working in the family automotive business, and remained there until its closing in April 2013. Douglas then retired and lived in his Plano home until his death.

Douglas was very interested in sports from when he was young. He played soccer and basketball in school and was very competitive. Douglas loved watching golf, ice hockey, women's volleyball, just to name a few. He was a sports fanatic!

Douglas was a loving son, brother and nephew, he would never leave the house without a hug, kiss and saying I love you. We enjoyed his sense of humor and looked forward to our times spent at the beach in Destin, FL.

Douglas is survived by his mother Judy and father Albert Ciauri; brother Richard of McKinney; niece Jillian Ciauri of Allen, TX and nephew Kyle Ciauri of Frisco, TX and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Douglas will be dearly missed by all whose lives he touched.

Visitation will be held from 3:00-5:00 pm Saturday, November 26th with funeral services on Sunday, November 27th at 2:00 p.m. at Charles W. Smith and Son’s Funeral Home, 601 S. Tennessee St, McKinney, Texas 75069
