Dorothy Elaine Edwards

Dorothy Elaine Edwards, age 76, passed away peacefully to be with our lord on Sunday, December 29, 2019 in her hometown for the past 37 years of Plano, Texas. She was born July 25, 1943 in Chicago, Illinois.
Dorothy graduated from Sacred Heart High School and at the age of 25 married her husband Douglas Edwards. They shared over 50 years of marriage loving each other. She worked as a bank teller throughout her life, but she loved to be home with her family. She enjoyed going to church, doing word-finds, putting puzzles together, reading avidly, watching television, especially black and white movies with her favorite movie being Gone with the Wind, going to restaurants, and traveling with her family.
She is preceded in death by her mother Martha Wiswell and her husband Frank Wiswell.
Dorothy is survived by her loving husband Douglas Edwards and her loving daughter Susan Edwards.
Her visitation will be Friday, January 3, 2020 from 12:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Charles W. Smith funeral home 2343 Lake Rd. Lavon TX

Her funeral Mass will be Saturday, January 4, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. at St. Mark the
Evangelist Catholic Church 1201 Alma Dr. Plano, TX 75075 (972)- 423-5600 followed by a graveside
service at Lake View Cemetery 2343 Lake Rd. Lavon , TX 75166 (972)-853-0808.
