Doris Lynn Cerny, 78, of Wylie, Texas, passed away August 12, 2018. She was born in Memphis, Tennessee to George W. & Alva (Knighten) Bowling.
She married David Cerny December 1, 1958 Mather Air Force Base in California.
She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 sister; Wilma Potter.
She is survived by her husband David Cerny, 2 sons; David & (Cynthia) Cerny and John & (Tracy) Cerny.
1 daughter; Karen Lynn Ruiz, 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 16, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Home of Sachse, Texas.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, August 17, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Charles W. Smith & Sons of Sachse, Texas with Don Shelton officiating. Interment to follow at Restland Memorial Park in Dallas, Texas.
Services entrusted to Charles W. Smith & Sons in Sachse, Texas.
