Doretha "Dot" Morrison
Born: January 30, 1931 - Dallas, Tx passed Away on February 10, 2017 at her home in Princeton, Tx
Survived by her loving husband of 22 wonderful years, Henry Morrison; 4 Natural children, Debbie Barnes, Sherry Morrison, Russ Wright, Lisa Wright and 4 bonus children Jerry Morrison, Donna Melton, Vernon Morrison and Rachael Newsome; a total of 15 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 13 great-great grandchildren.
Proceeded in death by her parents, William Warren and Billie Elizabeth McCullough, her brother Charles Leaford (Todd) McCullough and son James Leaford (Jimmy) Wright.
Her time on earth as a wife and mother was a wonderful example to all who knew her. She was loving, compassionate and helpful to anyone who needed her, family or not. She was the peacemaker of the family.
She carried many titles; Honey, Mother, Mom, Mama, Granny, Nanny, Gan-Nan and Dot, but her greatest title of all is:
“Born again Believer”
She was sure and proud of her salvation and had a pure love for Jesus. She longed for the time when once again she could see Jimmy. She knew that she had grand and great grandchildren in heaven that would be there to meet and greet her upon entrance to heaven and she looked forward to that. So even though you will be dearly missed, our hearts can cry out: Rest in Peace beautiful lady; you deserve it.
Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.
