Donald Ray Stembers

Donald Ray Stembers, age 67, was born on March 21, 1944 in Dallas. He passed away on February 23, 2012, after losing a courageous battle with cancer. He was a home builder for about 45 years. He started out as a framer and built his own business. He later became a building Superintendent for many Dallas area builders. He was surrounded by his loving family as he was released into the Lord’s hands. Donald Ray is survived by the love of his life, his wife, Judy Stembers; children Donald Ray Stembers Jr. and wife Debra, Charles Stembers, Vance Stembers and wife Tiffany, Latricia Sears, Shannon Jones and husband Brian, Amy Goodrich and husband Tim; grandchildren Brett Ray, Kaitlyn, Sterling, Austin, Graham, Vance Ray, Jerry, Ryan, Taylor, Collin, Brett, and Ashley; great-grandchildren Carter, Aiden, and Raelyn; sisters Delanna Blankenship, Patricia Brown-Vradenburg and husband Randy; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother Effie Pearl Harrison, father James Stembers and brothers Marvin Edward Harrison, Bobby Harrison and Howard Harrison. He will be greatly missed by all of the people whose lives he touched.
