Donald Ray Patterson

Donald Ray Patterson passed away Friday, August 2, 2019 at the age of 62. Ray was born January 1, 1957 in Port Arthur, Texas to Thomas Clyde Patterson and Tempie Louise Miller Patterson.
Ray graduated from Port Neches Groves High School. He then attended Howard Payne University where he met his wife, Gina. He attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary where he earned a Master of Arts in religious education and a PhD. in religious education. He served faithfully in ministry for over 30 years. During this time, he and his wife gave birth to five children. Ray loved his family with his whole heart and was always finding a way to make them laugh and smile.
Surviving relatives include his wife, Regina Patterson; brother Thomas Patterson; sisters, Linda Patterson and Mary Domingue; sons, Cameron Patterson and Connor Patterson and wife, Natalie; daughters, Cayla Quinley and husband Ryan, Corbin Wilson and husband Matthew, and Colby Patterson; grandson Everett Patterson and granddaughters, Madelynn Quinley and Caroline Quinley.
