Donald Eugene Parks

Donald Eugene Parks, lovingly known as Eugene, was born on April 7, 1949 in Junction, Texas to Alex Eiler Parks and Lenora Inez (Lacey) Parks, and he passed away suddenly on September 9, 2021 in McKinney, Texas.

Eugene loved being outdoors and hunting and fishing. He always had stories to tell, and he would go above and beyond to help anyone. Eugene enjoyed the mud races, rock climbing, and racing. He will be missed by his family and friends, but his legacy will live on through memories shared by his loved ones.

Eugene is survived by his loving wife, Deborah (Medcalf) Parks; daughter, Carol Evans and husband, Scott; son, Bubba Parks and wife, Stephanie; daughter, Becky Malone and husband, Chad; grandchildren, Kenzie Parks, Savannah Evans, Michael Harris and wife, Alyssa, Ryan Parks, Jordan Parks, Cameron DeBoard, Jarrin Luna, Jacob Malone, Stephanie Smith-Malone; great-grandchildren, Reagan, Kyliegh, Hunter, Mikey, Mason, Madelyn, Alex, and Crysti; sisters, Linda and Karen; brothers, Steve Parks and wife, Penny, Randy Parks and wife, June, Leslie Parks, Michael Parks and wife, Connie; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Alex Parks; mother, Lenora Inez (Lacey) Parks; sister, Lenora Beth Self; and brother, Jeffrey Parks.
