Donald Russell Dunn, 72, of McKinney, Texas passed away on May 19, 2011 in McKinney, Texas. He was born August 2, 1938 in Englewood, New Jersey to Clifton Stuart and Maybelle Byam Dunn. He served in the U. S. Army and was owner/operator of New Hope Grocery since 1976. He is survived by: wife: Callie Dunn; three children: Mario, Mary and Michael; four grandchildren.
Memorial services are scheduled at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at the Dunn Memorial Baptist Church in McKinney, Texas. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to the New Life Tabernacle Church in Little Elm to help with restoration efforts after the building was struck by lightning during an early morning storm on May 2. Donations can be made by mailing them to P. O. Box 384, Little Elm, Texas 75068.
