Donald Marvin Brown

Donald "Don" Marvin Brown of Princeton, TX, passed away on Sept. 5, 2019.

Don was born in Elmira, NY, to Irene Frances Weston and Marvin Herbert Brown on July, 14, 1949. He went to Ithaca High School in Ithaca, NY, and received his GED in 1967. A Vietnam War veteran with the United States Army, he enlisted in June 1967, achieved an E-5 or Sargeant Rank received numerous Good Conduct medals and a Vietnam Cross of Gallantry with gold palm medal, and was honorably discharged in 1976 while stationed in South Korea. Gifted with understanding electronic systems components, Don spent most of his career as an electronic technician. In the early 2000s, he retired from Texas Instruments and enjoyed his retirement years traveling, working around his homestead, and spending time with his family and grandkids.

Don's hobbies included automotives, home improvement, news and current events. He was a staunch patriot, a loving husband, and loved his children, grandchildren, and family with all his heart. Though his family rejoices he as at peace and reunited with those who entered heaven's gate before him, they miss him and mourn his impact in their lives.

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Ginger Lynn Brown, mom Irene, his father Marvin, his eldest brother Kenneth Lee Brown, and his nephew Stephen Scott Brown. He is followed in death by granddaughter Jessica "Jessi" Chance.

He is survived by his eldest brother's wife Donna Lynn Brown, elder sister Beverly Drake, younger brother Jeffrey William Brown and her wife Jandi Joe Brown, daughter Tammy Anne Brown, MD and her wife Mira Angeloca Wachs, MD; daughter Teresa Sue Binns, daughter Cynthia Lynn Walker and her husband James J Walker, III; daughter Aimee Lee Brown and her husband Chad Michael Miller, son Blaine Owen Moise, daughter Dondi Joyce Johnston and her husband Shaun Johnston, son Don Allen Brown, stepson Joshua Pitman and his wife Lindsey Pitman, stepdaughter Mandi Chance and her husband Billy Chance, stepdaughter Heather Renee Pitman, grandchildren Nobilei Lemons, Tyler Binns, Lcpl Corey Binns, Brittany Haviland, Samantha Giles and husband Michael, Kayla Ward and her husband Michael, James J. Walker, Jr.; Bria Richardson, Savannah Richardson, Leighla Richardson, Aidan Johnston, Dylan Johnston, Kaden Brown, Aubri Pitman, McKenna Pitman, Brylee Pitman, Wyatt Pitman, and several nieces and nephews.
