Donald E. Bearden

Donald E. 'Breeze' Bearden Sr., age 78, died October 30, 2011 in Richardson, Texas. Don is survived by his wife, Mary Jane, children: Don Jr of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Paul Sr. of Clear Lake, Minnesota, Joseph I of Fate, Texas, Daneen of Dallas, Texas, and 13 grandchildren.

Don was born in West Toledo in 1933. He lived in Toledo until 1969. He attended Whittier Grade School, graduated from Macomber Vocational High School in 'Cabinet Making' and received an Associate Degree in 'Manufacturing Technology' from Toledo University.

Don was in the U.S. Navy from 1951 " 1955.

Don went through an apprenticeship in Tool Design at Dana Corporation in Toledo and became a Journeyman in 1959.

He was in Field Sales for Dana Corporation in Minnesota and Texas after many years in the Bennett Rd., Toledo, Universal Joint Division and Transmission Division Plant. He retired from Dana Corporation in January 1966 after almost 40 years.

Don was very active in church in Minnesota and Texas. In Texas he served as a Deacon and Elder in church for many years.

Don is preceded in death by daughter Kathy and brothers Ray, Richard, and Tom.

Today, Don is very much at home, his real home !!
