Donald Wayne Aaron, 57, of Lone Star, Texas, passed away on November 6, 2011 in Lone Star, Texas. He was born January 15, 1954 in McKinney, Texas to Bobby Wayne and Virginia Inez Moon Aaron. He was a retired truck driver in the transit mix. He married Barbara Ann Latham on December 23, 1975 in McKinney, Texas.
He is survived by wife: Barbara Aaron of Lone Star, Texas; Son: Jerry Aaron & wife Jaime of Lone Star, Texas; daughter: Shelia Morehead of Lone Star, Texas; brothers: Terry Aaron of Melissa, Texas and Tommy Aaron of Kerrville, Texas; Sisters: Sally and husband Walter Tarter of White Oak, Texas and Rhonda Marks of Lubbock, Texas; Grandchildren: Austin Aaron, Nichole Aaron, Sidney Aaron, Madison Aaron, Jennifer Aaron, Aaron Dumas and Brianna Morehead; numerous nieces and nephews, family and friends.
He was preceded in death by parents, sister, Sharon Aaron; one granddaughter: Makenzie Morehead.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 11, 2011 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Home in McKinney, Texas.
Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 12, 2011 in the chapel of Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 601 S. Tennessee Street, McKinney, Texas 75069 (972) 562-7788. Rev. Woody Wilson will officiate. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery in Melissa, Texas. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.
