Don Allen Cox

Don, 57, went to be with the Lord on October 15, 2024. Don passed peacefully at his home in Nevada, Texas, surrounded by his wife Billie and mother-in-law Glenna McGee. 

Don had a long 9-year battle with multiple sclerosis and had a hard short battle with stage 4 lung cancer.

Don was born to Donald and Faye Cox on June 10,12967 in Dallas, Texas. Don graduated from Grand Prairie High School, and shortly after married Billie, his best friend and soulmate, in 1990. Together they shared 35 wonderful years. In those 35 years, they had two beautiful children, Chazzerick Allen Cox and BreAnna Dawn Cox, and made their lifelong home in Nevada, Texas.

Don was a fierce protector of his family who he loved unconditionally. His family was his priority and nothing else mattered; just for them to know that they are loved and wished them nothing but happiness.

Don, your love will always be our guide and you will be greatly missed by all those that got the privilege to know you and love you—someone so special can never be forgotten. In the hearts of those who loved you, you will always be there as you were. You will always be treasured in our memories. It was an honor to be a part of your life and journey. It’s not goodbye, it’s see you when we get there.
