Dolores Encizo

April 27, 1933 — September 2, 2019

It is with great sadness that the Encizo family of Dolores Dominguez Encizo, announce her passing in the early morning of Monday, September 2, 2019. She was Born in El Paso, TX on April 27th, 1933 to Manuela Caldera and Fortunato Dominguez. She grew up in El Paso, TX and Married Gilberto Encizo at an early age and was happily married until his untimely death in December of 1962. Widowed at such a young age, she labored at strenuous jobs to support and raise her children on her own and still found the time to devote her life to serving Christ and her community. She later moved to McKinney, TX where she continued to Serve the Lord at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church as a longtime and current member and volunteer for La Legion de Maria (Legion of Mary); and Jovenes Para Cristo (Young Adults for Christ). Volunteering and serving the needy was a big devotion of hers, ensuring that the many organizations she donated to always got her monthly contribution, even in her last days she requested that the children she sponsored not be forgotten when she passed.

She is survived by her Sons Juan (Yolanda) Encizo of McKinney, Jesus Encizo of McKinney, Manuel (Shiela) Encizo of McKinney, Gilberto (Angie) Encizo of Lockney, TX, Fernando (Joyce) Encizo of Anna, TX Joe Encizo of Anna, TX, daughters, Lydia Galban of McKinney and Dolores (Luis) Gonzales of Wylie, TX, brothers Manuel Quintero of El Paso, TX, Lorenzo Quintero of Arizona, Pedro Tapia of El Paso TX, sisters Socorro Quintero of El Paso TX, Guadelupe Lopez Quintero of Irving, TX, 33 grand kids, 69 Great grand kids, 21 Great great grandkids and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents Manuela Caldera and Fortunato Dominguez, her son Santos Encizo, daughter Rosa Maria Del Carmen Berrios, Sister Eva Tapia, granddaughters Dominga Vicencio, Rosalinda Sustaita Galban, grandsons Gilberto Encizo, Jesse Berrios and a great grandson Christopher Gonzales.

Dolores was a wonderful and devoted Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and friend to many. Those that knew her, knew her heart and love for serving the Lord, and she was loved and will be remembered and truly missed by many people and May she Rest In Heaven.
