Age 79, passed from this life May 25, 2011 in Sachse, Texas with her family by her side.
She was born on February 8, 1932 in Dallas, Texas to Ballus C. and Lorraine (Brooks) Busby.
Dolly was a graduate of the Baylor Nursing School and worked in nursing throughout her working life. Dolly and her husband Lewis lived in Mesquite, Texas for a number of years with daughter Rainey. They attended Galloway Avenue Baptist Church.
They traveled extensively and had a home in Harlingen, Texas where they also spent time. They attended the Church of Christ Church of Harlingen.
Later they moved to Sachse, Texas to live with their daughter Rainey and her husband Evan to be close to all their grandchildren they love so much.
Dolly is survived by her husband of 55 years, Lewis Scott, daughter Rainey Olson and her husband Evan, grandchildren Eric, Hannah, Lydia, Luke and Mark, niece Diane Walker and numerous other family members. She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister Gloria Newton.
VISITATION will be 6 - 8 P.M. Monday, May 30, 2011 at Charles W. Smith & Sons Sachse Chapel, 2925 Fifth St., Sachse, Texas 75048, 972-414-5050.
FUNERAL SERVICE will be 10 A.M. Tuesday May 31, 2011 at Waterbrook Bible Fellowship Church, 507 Thomas Street, Wylie, Texas 75098.
INTERMENT will be 12:45 P.M. on May 31, 2011 at DFW National Cemetery in Dallas, Texas.
