Diane Smith Tankursley

Diane Smith Tankursley, 77, was born in Gore, Oklahoma. She was the fifth child of six. She had four brothers and one sister. Some of her family lived in Webber Falls, across the river. She grew up fishing on the Arkansas River that runs between Gore and Webber Falls. It truly did not matter what time of year it was, fishing was her favorite thing to do.
Diane is preceded in death by her parents, Charlie A. and Gertie Russell Smith, her husband of 20 years, Jimmie D Tankursley; son Jimmie D. Tankursley, Jr. and her four brothers, Bill, Joe, Curly and Larry.
Diane is survived by her children; son, William H. Warren, Jr. of McKinney, Texas, daughter, Patricia A. Warren of Henderson, Texas, daughter, Lori L. Christian and husband Ted of Waxahachie, Texas, son, Joe A. Warren and wife Nancy of Princeton, Texas, son, Roy G. Warren of Princeton, Texas, and her sister, Delethia Wilson Bray of Lone Oak, Texas.
She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, Theresa Pelham, Nick Slade, Billy Warren, John Warren, Johnny Slade, Elizabeth Warren, Brandy Hellwarth, Jeremy Warren, William Warren, IV, Vanity Romines, Conney Romines, Alex Warren and Shelby Warren; 24 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
