Diane Malone

Diane Malone, of Garland, TX, died from heart complications on May 5, 2019, at The Heart Hospital in Plano, TX. She was 66 years old. She was born on December 26, 1952, in Dallas, TX. On August 23, 1969, she married Dwain Malone and this summer they would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. Together they had three children; Tracy, Rusty and Randy. She was a stay-at-home mom who dedicated herself to serving her family. Many people have experienced her generosity and compassion over the years, and she was a second mom to many of our friends. Her home and her kitchen were never closed, and she will be greatly missed. We are thankful for the happy memories she's given us and we long for the day when we will join her in heaven to laugh and play games together again. Diane is preceded in death by her mom and dad; James and Mary Frances Rountree; her sister, JoAnn Gault; and her grandson, Grant Malone. She is survived by her husband, Dwain; her brothers; Paul and James Rountree; and her children; Tracy and Joe Steele; Rusty and Laura Malone; Randy and Noelle Malone; and grandchildren; Tyler, Emily and Ashley Ward, Joey Steele, Grace, Mary, Elijah, Micah and Isaac Malone, Macie and Kinsey Malone and great grandchild, Jamison Ward. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at 6:00pm in the Parlor at First Baptist Church Garland.
