Diane Griffin

Diane "Utley" Griffin, daughter of the late Junior G. Utley and lesbie C. Utley, was born in Hayti, Missouri on January 19, 1957 and departed this life at Methodist Richardson Health Center in Richardson, Texas on Monday February 24, 2020 at the age of 63, with her loving husband and friends by her side.

Mrs. Griffin was a homemaker and former telecommunications worker. She was united in marriage on April 2, 1983 to Mark D. Griffin in Caruthersville, Missouri. He survives at their home in Wylie, Texas.

Survivors besides her husband include her mother; Lesbie Utley of Caruthersville, MO; one daughter; Beth Sanders of Brookland; daughters Kaylie Meales and Lauren Sanders , Arkansas; one brother; Larry (Jackie) Utley of West Plains, MO; two sisters; Janet (Marty ) Herrington of Caruthersville, MO and Robbie (Kent) Buck of Risco, MO; sister-in-law Diane (Scott) Siebert of Cape Girardeau, MO; and also by other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death, other than by her father, by one brother; Alvin O. Utley
A celebration of life, per her wishes, will be held at a later date in Missouri.
