Diana Lee Fisher, a beacon of love, grace, and self-reliance, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family in McKinney, Texas on December 31st 2024. Born in the town of Stoughton, Massachusetts, on March 24, 1953, she lived a full life of 71 years. Diana’s life journey was a testament to her unwavering love, care, and support for her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur R. and Agnes M. (Meyer) Letourneau.

Diana’s early years were marked by her education at St. Mary’s School and later, Stoughton High School. She worked in the accounting field for most of her adult life. She raised three wonderful children, Jessica Elaine Fisher of Plainville, Massachusetts, Amanda Lee Fisher, of McKinney, Texas and Emily Anne Wagner of Plano, Texas (Justin Wagner). She had two much-loved grandchildren, Aubrey Rose and Ethan Alexander, who she treasured. In addition to her children and grandchildren, she leaves behind two brothers, Arthur Letourneau (Cindy Letourneau) and David Letourneau of Stoughton, Massachusetts and a sister, Donna Walden (Ronald Walden) of McKinney, Texas, many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and beloved friends. She was an active member of Newcomer Friends of Greater Plano, participating in many of their activities, including book clubs, forming friendships, and many volunteer opportunities. She enjoyed many hobbies, including sewing, quilting, gardening (green thumb personified), antiquing, and reading. She was never happier than when she was at the beach, hiking in the woods, camping in her younger years or rocking on her glider, outside, on her beautiful, flower filled patio.

A celebration of life will be announced at a future date
