Dennis Elenburg

On January 9, 2018, heaven gained another angel; Dennis Winn Elenburg, age 50, of Sachse, Texas. Dennis is survived by his beautiful wife, Karen Renae Elenburg of Sachse, Texas and his three blessed boys: Jordon Bovinich of Sachse, Texas, Jarron Bovinich of Sachse, Texas, and Josh Winn Elenburg of Sachse, Texas. He is also survived by his mother, Mary Jo Major of Piedmont, Oklahoma, father, Dave Elenburg of Buffalo Springs, Texas and his brother, Darren Elenburg of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Dennis was born on September 23, 1967, in Austin, Texas. In 1985, he graduated from Putnam City North High School in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Dennis studied Physics and graduated with honors and a bachelor’s degree from Austin College in Sherman, Texas. On November 19, 1995, he went on to marry the love of his life, Karen Renae Elenburg.

Dennis was a selfless individual, a loving father, a caring husband and a faithful and active member of Watermark Community Church in Plano, Texas. Dennis enjoyed spending his free time serving the Lord, caring for others, loving his family and friends, and walking his dogs. Dennis has had many business ventures, as well as a long and successful career, and most recently was an analyst at CA Technologies.

Dennis will be remembered as a husband that loved and cared for his wife, and treated his marriage with respect, as an amazing father who took the time to understand and raise three amazing sons, and as a friend who deeply cared for others and would take the time to listen and understand.

Dennis touched many lives, and all are welcome to attend the memorial service honoring Dennis’ life. The service will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Watermark Community Church, 6400 K Avenue, Plano, Texas.
