Delores Lucas

Delores T. Lucas, age 68, passed away suddenly at her home in Wylie, Texas on August 1, 2013. She was born on January 16, 1945 in Dallas, Texas. She is survived by her sister, Linda Bacon and husband John; daughter, Donna Lozaw and husband, Tim and son, Tony Lucas and wife, Autumn; grandchildren, Nicole Brandenburg and husband, Brad; Ashley Griffith; Chance, Hunter, and Christina Lucas; and Tawny and Cheyenne Cox; great grandchildren, Bryce and Justin; and niece, Angie and nephew, Chad. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Dana C. Ledbetter; parents, Evelyn and Joe Turner; and brother, Dougie Turner.
She was a loving mother and fun, outgoing, supportive grandmother and great grandmother. She loved attending sporting events with her grandchildren, cooking, and gardening. A service will be held Sunday, August 4, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Home in Sachse. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 6 at Pecan Grove Memorial Park in McKinney.
