Delila S. Moorman

Delila Moorman, best known as “Moma Dee”, went to be with our Lord on Sunday, September 3, 2017 at 12:30 p.m. Moma Dee didn’t meet a stranger. She was always opening her home to all and giving, more than she had, to anyone in need.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Ric Boyd; her three sons, Steve, Sherman, and John Moorman, as well as nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Moma Dee will be missed by all who knew her.September 15, 1937 - September 3, 2017. 79 years young.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m, Thursday, September 7, 2017 at Charles W. Smith and Sons Funeral Home in McKinney with Pastor David Meeks officiating. Visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m., one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Fitzhugh Cemetery, 2542 Country Club Rd., Lucas, Texas.
