It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Debra Marie Lovejoy Kieszkowski, who departed this life on December 24, 2024, at her home in Prosper, Texas. Debra’s journey began in Valparaiso, Indiana, where she was born on September 3, 1954, to Harold and Millicent Shireman. She was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend whose warmth and creativity touched the hearts of many.

Debra graduated from LaCrosse High School, where she began to cultivate her passions and talents that would define her life. Known for her vivacious spirit and artistic flair, Debra found joy in crafting and embroidery, channeling her creativity into beautiful works that would be cherished by family and friends alike. Her love for crafting was only surpassed by her devotion to her family, especially her grandchildren, Cameron and Kendall Lovejoy.

Debra was an ardent supporter of their endeavors, faithfully attending their school and extracurricular activities, celebrating every achievement with unbridled enthusiasm. On October 4, 2014, Debra married the love of her life, David Kieszkowski, in an intimate ceremony in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Their union was a beautiful partnership grounded in love, laughter, and mutual respect. Debra cherished every moment spent with David, and their shared life was filled with warmth and adventure.

Debra was a proud member of the American Legion Post 403 Auxiliary, where she actively participated in community service and supported veterans. Her commitment to her community was evident in every endeavor she undertook, and she was always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need.

Debra is preceded in death by her loving husband, David Kieszkowski, her parents Harold and Millicent Shireman, and her brother Craig Shireman. She leaves behind a loving family, including her son Chad and daughter-in-law Ailey Lovejoy, her brother Todd Shireman and sister-in-law Rita Shireman, and a host of niece and nephews who will forever carry her memory in their hearts.

Debra’s legacy is one of love, creativity, and strength. She had a unique ability to bring people together and make everyone feel special. Her laughter was infectious, and her kindness and generosity knew no boundaries. As we celebrate her life, let us remember the myriad ways she enriched our lives and the love she shared so freely.

Debra will be deeply missed but will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the love of her family and friends.
