Davis T. Montfort

Davis T. Montfort, age 74, died unexpectedly on May 6, 2020. He was born October 3, 1945 in Corsicana, Texas to Davis Theodoric and Mamie Lee (Adams) Montfort. He graduated from Arlington High School in 1963 and from Texas A&M after a tour with the Army in Vietnam where he served as a Medic with the 101st Airborne U.S. Army in Vietnam.
Mr. Montfort had many interests as he worked as a landman with the Petroleum Industry for many years, as well as, with the poultry industry. His love for the outdoors included dog training, duck hunting and many other outdoor sports.
Davis was preceded in death by his parents Davis Theodoric and Mamie Lee (Adams) Montfort and is survived by his sisters Martha Virginia Montfort and Emily Nolley of Dallas and numerous other relatives.
Memorials may be made to the Texas Chapter of Ducks Unlimited One Waterfowl Way Memphis, Tennessee 38120.
