David Allan Montgomery

David Alan Montgomery, age 57, passed away Monday, April 23, 2012 at his home. David was born on October 17, 1954 in Mitchell, South Dakota to Donald and Janese Montgomery. He graduated from Plano Senior High School in 1972, served in the United States Air Force from 1975 to 1978, and was employed with GTE/Verizon from 1978 until he retired in August 2010. David is survived by his parents, Donald and Janese Montgomery of Mitchell, South Dakota; wife, Debby Montgomery of Plano, Texas; son, Michael Montgomery (Lane) of Rowlett, Texas; daughter, Mandi Goins (David) of Allen Texas; grandchildren Caleb Montgomery of Hewitt, Texas and Logan Montgomery of Rowlett Texas; brother Ricky Montgomery (Sue) of Garland, Texas. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m., Friday, April 27, 2012, at Charles W. Smith and Son Chapel in McKinney, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 4:00-6:00 p.m., Friday, April 27, 2012, at Charles W. Smith and Son Funeral Home.
