Daisy Lee Smith

Daisy Lee Smith was born May 22, 1938, in Rosston, Arkansas, to Guildford Henry Marlar and Mildred Ruth (May) Marlar.  She peacefully passed April 8, 2024, at the age of 85.

Daisy married Mack Franklin Smith on April 10, 1959, in Texarkana, Texas.   She was a homemaker and proud mother to two sons.  Mack and Daisy were married for 57 years.  They lived in Garland and LaRue, TX.  During Daisy’s final years, she lived in Sachse, Texas.

Daisy’s most recent church membership was Freeman Heights Baptist Church.

Daisy is survived by:  Sister Eula Kincaid of Mesquite, TX; Sister Barbara Kuykendall and husband Robin of Mesquite, TX, Son James Smith and wife Lori, of Wills Point, TX, Son Allan Smith and wife Kim, of Sachse, TX

Five Grandchildren: Bradley, Kellea, Kenneth, Erica, Tanner, 

Nine Great Grandchildren:  James, Juliette, Zachary, Jaiz, Jordan, Noah, Nathan, Micah, Annabelle

She was preceded in death by her parents Guildford and Mildred Marlar, husband Mack Smith, and great granddaughter Lily Smith.
