Cynthia Kay Bruce, born on October 1, 1946, in Oak Cliff, Dallas, TX, passed away peacefully on September 10, 2024 in Nevada, TX. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, known affectionately as Mom, Cindy, Grandma, and Memaw.


Cynthia was born on October 1, 1946 to William D Berlin and Elizabeth Nall. She was the youngest of 4 children. Her siblings were William Berlin, Dorothy Berlin and Marybeth Berlin. 


Cynthia was married to Terry A Bruce, and together they created a warm and loving home filled with laughter. Together they had many good times with their pet Rowdy. She cherished her children, Beverly Kris Miller, Karen L & Johnny Whitmore and Kevin S & Cynthia Cissy White and took great pride in her grandchildren, who were her greatest joy and accomplishment. Grandchildren Derek and Angel, Blaine and Jennye, Devin and Grace, Billy and Mallory, David, Jack and Briggette, Dalton and Tapianga, Lauren and Harlie. Along with great grandchildren Bella, Shannon, Mika Kaydence, Evelyn, Aiden, Alexander, Rowan, Arden, Axel and Darcie. 


An open-minded individual with a loving spirit, Cynthia embraced life with humor and warmth. She enjoyed cooking and shared her culinary talents with family and friends. Her favorite foods included chocolate, prime rib, Greek, and Italian dishes. In her leisure time, she could often be found indulging in online games and shopping, while also enjoying the delightful shows on The Cooking Channel.


Cynthia’s love for music was evident in a variety of music types. Her favorite movies were Ghost, Dirty Dancing and Mama Mia. 


Her open heart and ability to show love to everyone she met will be remembered fondly by all who knew her. 


She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories that will continue to resonate within her family and community.
