Curtis Lynn Climer

Curtis Lynn Climer, age 67, of Quinlan, Texas passed from this life on Sunday, June 19, 2011 in Wylie. He was born on December 4, 1943 to Willard and Dorothy nee Rawlings Climer in Frisco and grew up in Anna, Texas.
Curtis worked as a carpenter in the construction industry until he suffered a very serious accident in which he broke both arms, both legs, his back and his neck. When doctors said he would never walk again, Curtis remained determined and fought his way back to recover his mobility and independence. He enjoyed fishing and woodworking.
Curtis is survived by his sisters Patsy Cochran and Barbara Jones, his brother Carl Climer and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Graveside Services will be held at the Sachse Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, June 20, 2011, with the Reverend Bobby Baker officiating.
