Cristina Monserrat Garcia

Cristina Monserrat Garcia, age 24 of Princeton, Texas, passed away on October 22, 2017. She was born on April 25, 1993 in Mexico to Juan Garcia and Maria Guerrero. Cristina married Simon Perez in McKinney, Texas, and she worked as a floral designer until she had her children, at which time, she decided to stay home and raise her family.

Cristina was a beautiful person, inside and out, and she had a gorgeous smile that would light up a room. She never met a person she didn’t like, and she was a friend to everyone. Helping others was very important to Cristina, and she never missed an opportunity to do so. While helping friends, and strangers, too, was very important to her, nothing could compete with the love and caring she gave to her family. She was a “Mama Bear” when it came to her children. They were her world, and she would stop at nothing to keep them safe. Cristina was a loving wife, devoted mother, and amazing daughter, sister, and friend. She will be missed by her family and friends, but she will never be forgotten.

Cristina is survived by her husband, Simon Perez; three children, Brandon Vazquez, Simon Perez, and Leo Perez; parents, Juan and Maria Guerrero; two brothers, Juan Garcia and Andres Garcia; three sisters, Maria Garcia, Mayra Garcia, and Evelyn Garcia; four brothers-in-law, Gustavo Perez, Damian Perez, Osvaldo Perez, and Bernardo Perez; and one sister-in-law, Rosa Perez. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Pablo Garcia; great-grandmother, Maria Hernandez; and one aunt, Reyna Garcia.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at Charles W. Smith and Sons Chapel, 660 E. Hwy 380, Princeton, TX 75407, with Pastor Rudy Mora officiating. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., one hour prior to the service.Wednesday, October 25, 2017,Leo Perez passed away and his service will be with his mother's service.
