On July 27, 2011, a beautiful woman from San Diego, Texas was taken from our lives to make a new life with God. She was only 53 years old. She is now a beautiful angel in the bright shiny stars above watching over us.
She was born Nov 5,1957 in San Diego, Tx to Elias and Dora Saenz Martinez & raised by Sonny & Aurora Saenz Lozano.
Consuelo was a loving sister,aunt, mother and grandmother, as well as an amazing woman. She brought joy to all of our lives and always made everyone smile. She enjoyed traveling, spending time with her loved ones, and doing seamstress work.
She is survived by daughter Delia Rubalcava Torres and her husband Florencio, Raul Rhoads and his wife Erika, and her canine "daughter" Chata Martinez, mothers Dora Martinez & Aurora Saenz. As well as her 7 brothers, 6 sisters, 10 grandchildren, and all those who love her.
VISITATION will be 6 - 8 P.M. Friday evening 6 - 8 P.M. at Charles W Smith & Sons Funeral Home, Sachse Chapel, 2925 Fifth St., Sachse, Texas 75048, 972-414-5050.
FUNERAL SERVICE will be 2:00 P.M., Saturday July 30, 2011, at the Sachse Chapel. Interment will be at the Sachse Cemetery.
