Connie Sue Davis

Connie Sue Davis, age 65 of Allen, TX, went to the Lord on August 28, 2017. She was born on January 9, 1952, in Wynnewood, Oklahoma to Houston & Phyllis Faulkner. Connie graduated from McKinney High School in 1970. In high school, she volunteered as a hospital aid (candy striper), and later she graduated the valedictorian of her class at Grayson County College, where she earned her nursing degree. She was the Project Coordinator at HCA Hospital in Plano, where she holds a plaque in the hospital for her achievements. She loved more than anything was making memories with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Anything from making them smile or laugh made her whole day. Connie was an excellent cook and enjoyed preparing meals for her family and friends. Over the years she collected a large library of cookbooks from around the world. Connie had an unwavering faith in God. She was an active member of Cornerstone Church. Over the years, she had become very involved with the church and assisted in numerous fundraising events. She also loved traveling the world and adding to her collection of bells. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends, but she will never be far from their hearts.


Connie is survived by her mother, Phyllis Beck; Her children Robert & Shelly Dobbs; sister, Paula Smith; four grandchildren, Casondra, Ashley, Robert Joseph, Megan Dobbs; and two great-grandchildren, Kash and Kaiser Dobbs. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 20 years, Woodrow (Smokey) Davis. Her father Houston Faulkner, her stepfather JW Beck, and her niece Alicia Kujawa. No services are scheduled at this time.
