Cody Garrett Hensley

Cody Garrett Hensley, 17, of McKinney, Texas passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2013. He was born in El Cajon, California on March 14, 1996 to Christopher and Julie Hensley. Cody was a senior at McKinney North High School. He attended Collin County Cowboy Church and had a deep love of God, his family, friends, and girlfriend, Jai Hernandez. He also loved nature. You could always find him hunting, fishing, camping or spending time with Jai. Cody is survived by his parents, Christopher and Julie Hensley of McKinney; a sister, Emily Hensley of McKinney; his maternal grandparents Neil and Melinda Hennis of El Cajon, California, his paternal grandparents Bryan and Diane Hensley of Liberal, Kansas; his aunt, Kim Woodring of El Cajon, California; his uncle and aunt, Shawn and Stacey Hensley of Lubbock, Texas; his uncle and aunt Josh and Abby Hensley of Colwich, Kansas; his uncle and aunt Matt and Carrie Hensley of Liberal, Kansas; his uncle Lane Hensley of Liberal, Kansas; his uncle Lane Hensley of Liberal, Kansas; and many, many cousins, friends and relatives. A viewing will be held at Central Baptist Church in McKinney from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 14, 2013. The funeral will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 15, 2013 at Collin County Cowboy Church in Princeton with burial immediately following at Wilson Chapel Cemetery.
