Clayton William Hayes

Clayton William Hayes, 22, of Cape Coral, Florida, died on October 18, 2013. He was born on April 13, 1991 in Plano, Texas. Clayton is survived by his son, Patrick Nuckolls and his son's mother, Carolyn Nuckolls; his mother, Alicia Hayes; his father, Charles Hayes; his sister, Shawna (Cary) Ricks; his brother, Westin Hayes; his aunt, Tracy Hayes; his aunt, Rhonda(Michael)Chimner; his grandparents, Ron and Joyce Prime; his grandfather, Charles Hayes aka: Papasan; and nephews and nieces, Ethan, Taten and Grey Ricks. Clayton was preceded in death by his grandmother, Frances Snoddy. Clayton believed in living life to the fullest and living in the moment. When asked what his priority was, he would say, "having fun!" He was a loyal friend who loved his friends deeply. He also deeply loved his family. He will be missed by many. The family will receive friends at a visitation to take place Wednesday, October 23, 2013 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 601 S Tennessee Street McKinney, Texas 75069. A funeral service will take place on Thursday, October 24, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow immediately at Rolling Oaks Memorial Center in Coppell, Texas.
