Christopher B. Valentine, Sr. was born on February 10, 1972, in Dallas Texas to Rose Robertson. He went to be with his Savior on September 5, 2021, in Dallas Texas. He is preceded in death by his mother, Rose. He is survived in life by his wife Shalene and their 3 children Chris, Susie and Leslie Valentine, sister Carla Robertson and brother David Robertson.
Chris served in the US Navy during the Gulf War and upon returning to Dallas acquired a degree in Video Production where he met his wife Shalene. Chris and Shalene were married on Feb 14, 2000, at Skillman Church of Christ, in Dallas, Tx where they have been members since. Chris held his faith in Jesus Christ above all else. Chris was always ready, willing, and prepared to serve the Body of Christ and his church community in anyway, at any time.
Chris also expressed his faith serving others and as an instructor in Martial Arts. He earned a second-degree Black Belt in Kenpo Karate and a Black Belt in Karazenpo Goshin Jutsu. He blended these two systems to create Tetsu Tamasi Goshin Jutsu (Iron Soul Self-Defense) under Valentine Martial Arts System.
Services will be held at 12:00pm on Wednesday September 15, 2021, at Eastgate Funeral Home. Viewing will be from 11:00am-12:00pm. The Interment will be held at 10:15am, Thursday September 16, 2021, at the DFW National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Skillman Church of Christ.
