Chester Carl Hartwig

Chester "Carl" Hartwig SR. was born on September, 7th 1931 in Choctaw, Oklahoma to Sarah Ellen Anders and John Carl Hartwig. On May 26th 2020 at the age of 88 surrounded by his family Carl peacefully left this world to go be with our Lord. Carl will be greatly missed he was an amazing man, husband, brother, father, grandfather "Papa" ,and friend.
Carl was preceded in death by his parents Sarah Ellen Anders, John Carl Hartwig, his grandson John Charles Hartwig, as well as his brothers Franklin Lee Hartwig and John Arch Hartwig.
Carl is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 62 years; Bobbie Hartwig. His brother John Mezzels and wife Connie and sister Lena Pavletich and husband Neal. His children Carl Hartwig Jr., Lynn Trotter and husband Russell and Wayne Hartwig.
His grandchildren Jeanette Burton, Jennifer Sampson, Henry Askew III and wife Sheena, Sarah Carter and husband Jason, Justin Askew and wife Christa, "Scooter" Erick Hartwig, Weslee Hartwig, Stephen Woodall.
His great-grandchildren Justin and Everett Sampson, Nicholas, Elizabeth and Zachary Askew, Savannah and Jonathan Wilson, Dakota, Jordan, Andrew and Morgan Carter, little Erick Hartwig, Addison and Kennedy Hartwig, Amber Trotter, Bentley Curtis.
