Charlotte Ann Davis

Charlotte Ann Davis, 62, passed away on September 06, 2012. Charlotte was born in Dallas, TX to Billy Joe and Mary Ellen Cartwright on December 09, 1949. She grew up in Wilmer, TX where she graduated with scholastic honors from Wilmer-Hutchins High School in 1968. One of God’s special gifts, Charlotte was the best of a wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend. She was faithful in every aspect of her life including her worship, her marriage, and her love for her family. We can’t say enough to honor someone so special, but we know God provides words when we can not, and we know today she is singing with angels. Charlotte is survived by her husband, Floyd Davis, of Princeton, TX; her beloved children, Michaela Smith of Princeton, TX, Chad Davis of Ennis, TX, Brad Davis of Celina, TX, and Marcie Davis of Princeton, TX; as well as her precious seven grandchildren, Jerry, Chase, Dakota, Catherine, Kiley, Caden, and Josiah. She is also survived by her loving brother, Ted Cartwright of Euless, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents. Charlotte took great pride in providing for her family and caring for her grandkids.

Visitation will be held Saturday, September 8, 6:00 p.m. at the Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 601 S. Tennessee in McKinney, TX 75069. Funeral services will be held Sunday, September 9, at 3:00 p.m. at the Greenville Oaks Church of Christ, 703 S. Greenville Avenue, Allen, TX 75002. Burial will follow the service, at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Princeton, TX. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Foster’s Home for Children (254-968-2143), 1779 N.
