Mr. Charlie H. Lewis of Garland, Texas, 73, passed away Monday, November 12, 2012 at his home.

Mr. Lewis was born in Grapeland, Texas and worked as a Dietary Aid in food service in the north Texas area.

Mr. Lewis is survived by his wife Minnie Faye Lewis.

Sons: Charlie R. Lewis and his wife Alicia of Garland, Ronnie Stanberry of Dallas, Billy C. Sears of Garland, Jimmy Dixon of Garland.

Daughters: Cassandra Randon of Plano, Linda F. Taylor and her husband Billy of Dallas, Shenika Lewis of Dallas, Fay N. Hannon of Garland.

Grandchildren: Lamorio T. Lewis, Broderick D. Lewis, Shalandria A. Potts, Talentha L. Lewis, Karen L. Taylor, Cedric D. Rosewell Jr., Ja'Corey L. Rosewell, Mariah M. Lewis, Chandra B. Lewis, Debra Hannon, Erica Hannon, Nedda Hannon.

Brothers: Ronnie Lewis of Sachse, Texas, Harvey Lewis of Rowlett, Texas, Donald Lewis of Dallas, Texas

Sisters: Hallie Lewis of Dallas, Texas, Mary Woods of Garland, Texas

Preceded in death by: Mother: Marjorie Lewis. Father: Willie G. Lewis Sr. Son: Legaris Lewis, Grandson: Kendrick L. Lewis. Brothers: Willie G. Lewis Jr, James E. Lewis. Grandmother: Marilla Carr and a special aunt that raised him, Moszelle Denby.

Visitation will be from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM Friday November 16, 2012 at the Eastgate Funeral Home Chapel

Services will be held at the Way of Truth Church located at 845 S. Buckner Blvd in Dallas Saturday, November 17, 2012 at 1:00 PM. Internment will follow at Lincoln Memorial Cemetery in Dallas.

Pallbears will be: Cedric Rosewell Sr, Thomas Aldridge, Spencer Maddox, Vince Williams, Clarence Alexander, Deacon Rodney Holmes
