Charles Lester McGee

Charles Lester McGee was born on March 1, 1934 to Frank Lester & Tressie Odessie McGee and passed on November 19, 2019 at his home in Garland, TX.

Charles was a member of Abundant Praise Fellowship in Rowlett, TX. He mowed yards and took care of the Sachse Cemetery for 30 years, was a foreman with the City of Garland for 33 years and a foreman with Garland Independent School District for 22 years. Charles was a hard-working man enjoyed carpentry and gardening. He really was a "Jack of all Trades". Charles adored his grandkids and loved spending time with his family.

Charles is survived by his daughters; June Singletary & Gina Elder and her husband, David, grandchildren; Jason Singletary, Melissa Singletary, Ethan Elder, McKayla Elder, his brothers; J.W. McGee & Billy McGee, several nieces, nephews, great-niece & grea-nephew, and many other family members and friends.
Charles is preceded by his loving wife of 52 years, Oneta Dewoody McGee, parents; Frank & Tressie McGee, and sisters; Annie Mae Austin & Nancy Faye York.
