Charles L. Bradshaw

Charles LaVern Bradshaw, age 72 of Dallas, TX, passed away July 18, 2016.

Charles was a sports enthusiast, especially for the teams at the University of Oklahoma, his alma mater. Among his favorites were the O.U. Sooners football team, the O.U. Womens basketball team and the Dallas Stars ice hockey team. As well as staying very up to date on current events and politics, he had a passion for animals and loved to get the best deal he could on everything.

Charles is survived by his wife of 34 years, Beverly (Kennedy) Bradshaw; daughter, Dana Yates and husband, Larry; mother, Eleanor (Grosvenor) Bradshaw; sister, Marilyn Garrity and husband, Nicholas; granddaughters, Abbey and Alyssa Yates; niece Lauren Bauer and husband, Nate; nephew Blake Garrity and fiancée Haley Brown; and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, James V. Bradshaw; two brothers, Jimmy and Keith Bradshaw, grandparents, Charles and Edna Grosvenor and James and Irene Bradshaw, granddaughter Taylor Yates and niece Meghan Garrity.

Private graveside services were held. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made in Charles’ memory to any of the following:
