Cecil Donald Nance

Cecil Donald Nance Jr., 70, of Farmersville, Texas, passed away in McKinney, Texas on April 20, 2021. He was born in Plano, Texas August 26, 1950 to Cecil Sr. and Ruby Seabolt Nance. Cecil Jr. became a proud 9th generation Collin County resident.

Cecil resided in Farmersville for 36 years, the last 21 of which were spent with the love of his life, Jolene Zager Nance. Before retirement, he worked for Texas Instruments for 40+ years. Cecil loved being around family, and enjoyed cutting up with them, especially with his actually funny "dad jokes". He was known for his sense of humor and for getting a smile out of anyone and everyone. He truly never met a stranger. Cecil's pastimes included intricate woodworking, going out shooting, down home cooking, and hitting the estate sales to add to his antique collection.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Jolene, of the home, daughters; Amanda Crane and Melanie Shew and his sister Lana Saleh.
