Cecil Warren Gilreath

Cecil Warren Gilreath, also known as "Bubba" by his siblings and their families, was born in Melissa Texas on August 26, 1941 to Cecil and Effie Gilreath and passed away on September 8, 2017.

He is survived by his children: Carrie Padron, Tressa Lawrence, Tina Chapman, Kelly Gilreath, Kristy Trevino, Tiffany Gilreath, Johnathan Gilreath, Misty Hill, and Sasha Gilreath; siblings: Almeta Hobbs, Alica Padron and Annette Escamilla; 15 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Cecil was preceded in death by his grandbaby: Cameron Hill; wife: Frances Gilreath; and parents: Cecil and Effie Gilreath.

Cecil was one of Jehovah's Witnesses and believed strongly in the hope of a resurrection into a paradise earth as mentioned at 2 Peter 3:13 and Psalm 37:29. Cecil had a warm smile and enjoyed conversation very much. He loved his large family and worked very hard for them as a brick and stone mason for over 50 years. He also worked tirelessly building Kingdom Halls for many years. He was always willing to help others.

He was devastated by the loss of his wife, Frances, and was only consoled at knowing she is in Jehovah's memory as he also now is. We are grateful to Jehovah and his son Jesus for the ransom sacrifice that makes it possible to see them together again one day soon.
