Carrie Belle Lucher
July 1, 1921 — March 15, 2019
Carrie Belle Lucher, 97, was born July 1, 1921 in Timpson, Texas. She passed from this world into the loving arms of Jesus on March 15, 2019 after living a long life of loving, giving and sharing. She was an Army nurse in WWII, wife, mother, grandmother, counselor, sponsor, caregiver and friend. She was an amazing woman loved an respected by many. She will live in our hearts forever as we recall the many memories of this incredible woman Carrie Belle Lucher.

She was preceded in death by her parents: John Thomas Burgess and Beulah Celeste (Greene) Burgess. Sisters: Ollie Cecil and Nina Faye. Also her children: Patricia Rose Anweiler (37), Lou Anne Lucher (13) and David Lucher (16). And a grandson: Andrew Albert Clapp (17).
She survived by daughter Brenda and son in law Jack Clapp; daughter Sandy and son in law Dorin Vaughn; and daughter Cathy Haneline. Also surviving are grandchildren Joel Brister; Erin and Matthew Clapp; Bobby and Carrie Haneline; Chris, John and Michael Anweiler and Isaac Villarreal as well as six beautiful great grandchildren. And also nieces: Carolyn and Judy.
In lieu of flowers please make a memorial contribution to Wounded Warriors or AA or a charity of your choice.
