Carolyn Cavitt Turner passed away peacefully from this life on October 31, 2013 at Garnet Hill Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Facility in Wylie.
Carolyn was born January 18, 1947 in Durant, Oklahoma to Margie and Lavoyd Cavitt. She married Orville Turner Jr. on November 6, 1976 in Greenville, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her son, Wesley Scott Davis and her parents, Margie and Lavoyd Cavitt.
She is survived by her husband Orville Turner Jr.; son, Christopher Troy Davis; son, Robert Davis and his wife Kelly; granddaughter, Taylor; grandson, Jordan Davis; sister, June Herrington and her husband Dan; sister, Kay Richards and her husband Bobby along with numerous other relatives and friends.
Carolyn was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend. She was a devoted, caring, and loving ICU and Hospice nurse for 33 years. She enjoyed cooking (especially during the holidays), traveling, and painting. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
