Carolyn Honeycutt, 77, passed away September 24, 2014 in Richardson, Texas. She was born October 7, 1936 in Stuttgart, Arkansas to Frank and Edrie Moore.
Carolyn thoroughly enjoyed her role as a wife, mother and grandmother. She never stopped pursuing new interests. She was very good at cooking, gardening, sewing, arts & crafts, fishing, golfing, bridge, antiques, real estate management and stained glass windows. She was a tennis champion for forty years! Carolyn would say her most memorable and exciting achievement was reeling in an 80-pound Marlin off the west coast of Mexico, where she caught more fish than anyone else.
She will truly be missed by her family and all that knew her.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Edrie Moore; and her identical twin sister, Marolyn Tarver.
She is survived by her husband of fifty-eight years, Gary Honeycutt; son, Walter Honeycutt and his wife, Michelle; daughter, Karen Collins and her husband, Ron; four grandchildren, Blake Thomas, Courtney Thomas, Samuel Honeycutt, and Owen Honeycutt; nephew, Eric Tarver; niece, Edie Tarver; and other family members.
