Caroline Victoria Kastner
Born 10/19/2006 in Plano, Texas. On 10/15/2019 she passed in her sleep at home in Wylie, Texas. She was 12 years old, almost 13.
Caroline's favorite place to be was with family, she was always ready to hang out, or go somewhere with any of her sisters. She loved all animals, she even liked to pretend to be an animal, mimicking whatever sounds that animal made. She had two cats of her own, named Tiger and Ginger. She enjoyed going to school everyday, she was in the 7th grade. Everyday was a chance to have a new adventure for her. She spent her last days getting dirty having fun in the backyard. She was very happy go lucky, a social butterfly, everyone she met was her friend. She loved everyone with her whole heart, which she often showed in giving the biggest hugs! She loved the Lord with all her heart. She had a passion for listening to worship music. The last song she listened to was "You Raise Me Up" by Josh Groban. A short life, but she lived it to the fullest. Anyone who ever met Caroline would agree, she didn't live in our world, we lived in hers.
She is preceded in death by her Grandpa Carl Kastner Jr., Grandma Carolyn Kastner, Grandma Virginia Scharff, and her Uncle David Kastner
She leaves behind both her parents Carl Kastner III and Katherine (Scharff) Kastner, her maternal Grandpa Seward Scharff, her siblings Beth and James Smythwood, Shannon and Collin Edwards, Alyssa Kastner, Matthew and Patricia Kastner, Corinne Kastner Fitzsimmons, Clara Kastner and Izak Hoats, her nieces Meridian, Lily, Temperance, Alivia, and her nephews Jacob, Oliver, Declan, and Jaxen, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes for new stuffed animals to be brought to the visitation and/or service to be donated to a local children's hospital.
Caroline's favorite color was purple, the family is asking that those attending the visitation and/or service wear purple if possible.
