Sheffield, Carol Juanelle (Donihoo) age 76, born on September 9, 1934, passed from this life Monday, May 9, 2011 in Wylie, Texas.

She was born in Dallas, Texas to Howard Bruce and Gladys Ann (McNiel) Donihoo who have preceded her in death. Carol was a lifetime resident of Dallas, Garland, and Plano, Texas. She graduated from North Dallas High School in 1952 and retired from Texas Instruments after a 30 plus year career holding many positions with the company. Her last assignment was in the Customer Response Center.

Carol was also a member of the Wylie United Methodist Church. Carol found great joy in reading, affectionately loved stickers of all varieties, and had a passion for the musical Phantom of the Opera.

Carol leaves behind to cherish her memories, children: Debra Baker, Belinda Stewart, Charlie DeMauro and her husband Randy, Rusty Sheffield and his wife Cheryl; grandchildren: Lorna Bradford and her husband Chris, and Russell Baker; her pride and joy, great grandchildren: Garrett and Sydney Bradford; brothers: Bruce Donihoo and his wife Pat, and Tracy Donihoo and his wife Irma; and aunt Vergie McNiel and uncle Johnny McNiel and a host of other family and friends.

VISITATION will be 6 " 8 P.M. Thursday May 12, 2011 at the funeral home.

FUNERAL SERVICE will be 11:00 A.M. Friday May 13, 2011 at Wylie United Methodist Church with Reverend Kathryn Strempke Officiating. Interment will follow at the Sachse Cemetery, Sachse, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be sent to the children’s ministry at Wylie United Methodist Church, 1401 Country Club, Wylie, TX 75098 or a charity of your choice.
