Carol Ann Engstrom

Carol Ann Engstrom, 81, of Plano, TX passed away on October 18, 2022. She was born August 19, 1941, in Brooklyn, NY to Isabella (Synan) and Joseph Valane. She was a graduate of Bishop McDonnell Memorial High School in Brooklyn, NY in 1959.

Carol was trained in the apparel industry and worked for Fox-Knapp Manufacturing Company in Manhattan before moving to Texas in 1985, where she worked for Dallas Handbag. Later, she retired in 2006.

Carol dearly loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchild and enjoyed spending as much time as possible with them. She is predeceased by her brother Joseph Valane and is survived by her lifelong companion Mike Reed, brothers Billy (Lee) Valane and Donald (Florence) Valane, sisters Judy (Chip)
Wirsing and Evelyn Valane, son Lincoln (Miriam) Engstrom, daughter Debra Engstrom, son Lance (Pamela) Engstrom, grandsons Trevor Engstrom, Logan (Celeste) Engstrom, Lincoln Engstrom, granddaughters Lindsey Hutchinson, Sabrina Engstrom, a great-granddaughter Emma Hager, and a great-grandson Elliott Engstrom due in November.
