Bruce Ritchie

Bruce Lynn Ritchie, age 73, of Dallas, Texas, passed from this life on Monday, December 2, 2024. Bruce was born to Thomas Eugene Ritchie, Sr. and Valeria Christeen (Burnett) Ritchie in Dallas, Texas.

Bruce is survived by his sister Helen Christeen (Ritchie) Georgopoulos of Garland, Texas; and his brother Clayton F Ritchie (Kathryn) of Farmersville, Texas as well as a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Margaret French, and one brother, Thomas Eugene Ritchie, Jr.

He loved to watch old westerns such as Gunsmoke, Wagon Train, Laramie and others. He enjoyed bikes and owned a Yamaha. In the mid 70’s Bruce, Eugene, and best friend JT Lake enjoyed racing cars at the Sports Drome in Grand Prairie, TX.

Bruce, Eugene and Clayton ran trotlines in Bruce’s canoe. The catch was always plentiful, 30 to 50 catfish, and included a couple buffalo ranging from 2 to 20 lbs. each.

Bruce will be missed and will be forever in our hearts.
