Brice Howard Overmyer

Mr. Brice (Butch) Overmyer of McKinney, TX passed away suddenly on January 28th, 2017 at the age of 73.Brice was born to parents Howard and Hazel Overmyer on March 30th, 1943 in Fremont, Ohio. He grew up an only child on a working farm and was a graduate of Ross High School and Bowling Green University.

A dedicated engineer, Brice worked for Hughes Aircraft for over 20 years in southern California and Raytheon in Dallas towards the end of his career. He was a warm and loving father and friend who had a passion for carpentry, photography, metal milling, anything automotive, and a fervent fan of conversation and coffee.

He is survived by his three beautiful daughters and their families, Sonya and Daren, Amy and Joel, and Samantha and Shawn, and his six loving grandchildren, Ashley, Mathew, Corey, Patricia, Charlotte, and Laurelei. As well as his sweet and furry rescue pup, Roxie.

There will be a Celebration of Life service held at, Charles W. Smith & Son’s funeral home in McKinney, TX from 11am-1pm on Saturday, February 11th, 2017.
