Brian Gumm II

It is with the deepest sorrow we announce that Brian Kevin Gumm, II, age 29; our beloved son, brother, family member, and friend, passed to be with his loving Lord and Savior on Sunday, July 14, 2019. Kevin, as he was known to family and friends, graduated from Hebron High School and attended Texas A&M University, where he was a member of the Aggie Corps of Cadets.

Kevin later gained his Journeyman"s license from IEC as an Electrician and was currently working on the construction of the new Texas Rangers Globe Life Stadium in Arlington. Kevin will be so very missed by his brother Colby; his mother, father, many cousins, aunts. uncles, and grandparents.

His is survived by his father, Brian and step-mother Penny Gumm; mother Kelly Laymon and Gary Mazurek; brother William Colby Gumm; step-brother Shane; step-sister Blair; step-niece Raegan Stuart; grandparents James and Jane Underwood; and Sharon Laymon.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather; William Earl Gumm, Jr.; Grammy Hermina Agnes Pekar-Gumm; great-grandparents Lewell and Bernice Duckworth; and grandfather Loyd L. Laymon.

Services will be held at Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 19, 2019. Interment will be in Sachse Cemetery following the service.
